In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

In reference to God, Iranians very frequently use the word "Khoda`vand." This does not befit the Almighty who is the Absolute God.

A SIMPLE LOGIC:

"Kheesh" in Farsi means self. "Kheeshvand" means someone who is related to "Kheesh," meaning a relative. "Pas" in Farsi means behind. "Pasvand" refers to something that is connected (attached) to the behind. "Peesh" in Farsi means front. "Peeshvand" refers to something that is connected (attached) to the front. "Pey" in Farsi means main (Asl), foundation. "Peyvand" refers to something that is connected (attached) to the main body. If "Kheeshvand" cannot be "Kheesh," "Pasvand" is not "Pas," "Peeshvand" is not "Peesh," and "Peyvand" is not "Pey," then, how could "Khoda`vand" be "Khoda?" "Khoda" is the Absolute, "Allahus`samad" (112:2). "Khoda`vand" is not the Absolute, for it refers to anything that is related to "Khoda." Only "Khoda" is "Khoda." Everything else and everyone else is "Khoda`vand," for "Khoda" is the Creator of all things, and this includes Satan. This injection into the language of Farsi is one of Satan's tricks to prevent the Iranians from referring to God as the Absolute God, even in their language.
