Therefore, you shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salaat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakaat), and hold fast to GOD; He is your Lord, the best Lord and the best Supporter.

29:45. You shall recite what is revealed to you of the scripture, and observe the Contact Prayers (Salaat), for the Contact Prayers prohibit evil and vice. But the remembrance of GOD (through Salaat) is the most important objective. GOD knows everything you do.

2:45. You shall seek help through steadfastness and the Contact Prayers (Salaat). This is difficult indeed, but not so for the reverent.

Time of the Contact Prayers Top
The Contact Prayers must be performed at specific times:
4:103. Once you complete your Contact Prayer (Salaat), you shall remember GOD while standing, sitting, or lying down. Once the war is over, you shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salaat); the Contact Prayers (Salaat) are decreed for the believers at specific times.
The specific time for the five daily Contact Prayers are mentioned in 2:238, 11:114, 17:78, & 24:58.
Morning Prayer (Fajr): This Prayer should be performed after dawn but before sunrise.
Sunset Prayer (Maghrib): This Prayer should be performed from sun set until before the complete darkness sets in.
Night Prayer (Esha): This Prayer should be performed when total darkness has set in. It can be performed until before the Morning Prayer.
True believers should be anxious to establish contact with their Creator, therefore, they perform their Contact Prayers on time.

11:114. You shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salaat) at both ends of the day, and during the night. The righteous works wipe out the evil works. This is a reminder for those who would take heed.
Noon Prayer (Zuhr): This Prayer should be performed after the sun declines from its highest point at noon.
17:78. You shall observe the Contact Prayer (Salaat) when the sun declines from its highest point at noon, as it moves towards sunset. You shall also observe (the recitation of) the Quran at dawn. (Reciting) the Quran at dawn is witnessed.
Afternoon Prayer (Asr, the Middle Prayer): This Prayer should be performed from halfway between the Noon and the Sunset prayer until before sunset.
2:238. You shall consistently observe the Contact Prayers, especially the middle prayer, and devote yourselves totally to GOD.
24:58. O you who believe, permission must be requested by your servants and the children who have not attained puberty (before entering your rooms). This is to be done in three instances - before the Dawn Prayer, at noon when you change your clothes to rest, and after the Night Prayer. These are three private times for you. At other times, it is not wrong for you or them to mingle with one another. GOD thus clarifies the revelations for you. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise.

Prohibitions When Performing the Contact Prayers Top
4:43. O you who believe, do not observe the Contact Prayers (Salaat) while intoxicated, so that you know what you are saying. Nor after sexual orgasm without bathing, unless you are on the road, traveling; if you are ill or traveling, or you had urinary or fecal-related excretion (such as gas), or contacted the women (sexually), and you cannot find water, you shall observe Tayam`mum (dry ablution) by touching clean dry soil, then wiping your faces and hands therewith. GOD is Pardoner, Forgiver.
4:142. The hypocrites think that they are deceiving GOD, but He is the One who leads them on. When they get up for the Contact Prayer (Salat), they get up lazily. That is because they only show off in front of the people, and rarely do they think of GOD.
9:54. What prevented the acceptance of their spending is that they disbelieved in GoD and His messenger, and when they observed the Contact Prayers (Salaat), they observed them lazily, and when they gave to charity, they did so grudgingly.
107:4. And woe to those who observe the contact prayers (Salaat) -
107:5. who are totally heedless of their prayers.
The 764th verse in the Quran (including the Basmalah) is 5:91. This verse is directly connected with the Salat, our daily Contact Prayers. Please note that while performing the daily Contact Prayers, in one week, 764 times we go through motions and change our positions (666 times in 6 days and on Friday 98 times).
5:91. The devil wants to provoke animosity and hatred among you through intoxicants and gambling, and to distract you from remembering GOD, and from observing the Contact Prayers (Salaat). Will you then refrain?
The accursed Satan comes up with all kinds of schemes to create distraction in order to take us away from GOD. Gambling and intoxicants are physical tools that the Devil uses to throw his human victims off the track. Mentioning other names beside the name of GOD in Contact Prayers is a clear case of idol worship and nullifies our Prayers. To uphold other teachings beside the Quran, teachings such as Hadith, Sunna, Rashad's Salaat-booklet, and his tapes are other forms of committing idol-worship, 6:19. The Devil comes up with all kinds of tricks to make his human victims believe that the Quran is not enough. The wrath of GOD is upon Satan!

How to Perform the Contact Prayers Top
The Intention: Our Contact Prayers (Salaat) must be absolutely devoted to GOD ALONE. Glory is to GOD; the following verse says it all. It is noteworthy that the verse number is 162, and 162 is gematrical value of the word "Al-Salaat," "The Contact Prayer," (1+30+90+30+6+5).
Quran 6:162. Say, "My Contact Prayers (Salaat), my worship practices, my life and my death, are all devoted absolutely to God alone, the Lord of the universe.
Ablution: The Quran tells us that before we start our contact prayers we must perform the ablution. It is absolutely essential to have the intention to dedicate our worship practices to GOD ALONE. Verse 5:6 in the Quran clearly states how to do the ablution:
Quran 5:6. O you who believe, when you observe the Contact Prayers (Salaat), you shall: (1) wash your faces, (2) wash your arms to the elbows, (3) wipe your heads, and (4) wash your feet to the ankles. If you were unclean due to sexual orgasm, you shall bathe. If you are ill, or traveling, or had any digestive excretion (urinary, fecal, or gas), or had (sexual) contact with the women, and you cannot find water, you shall observe the dry ablution (Tayam`mum) by touching clean dry soil, then rubbing your faces and hands. GOD does not wish to make the religion difficult for you; He wishes to cleanse you and to perfect His blessing upon you, that you may be appreciative.
GOD wishes no hardship imposed on us in practicing our religion. Any suggestion in mythology as to how to perform some of the details that move us in the direction of making the religion difficult, cannot be from GOD and is not approved by Him.
GOD says when you observe the Contact Prayers:1. Wash your face, and we have 1 face.2. Wash your arms to the elbow, and we have 2 arms.3. Wipe your head, and we have 1 head.4. Wash your feet to the ankles, and we have 2 feet.1 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 6Before performing our 5 daily Contact Prayers, we do the above 6 actions in our ablution. This is why Almighty GOD has placed the instruction for ablution in 5:6. People should be able to do these actions comfortably, without any hardship. People are men, women, left-handed, right-handed, tall, short, fat, skinny, and all sort of other things. How to do the details is up to the individuals.
In regard to our feet, some people might say that the Quran says we should wipe our feet to the ankles instead of washing them. GOD says that He loves those who are clean. The believers should use their own judgment, this is a test for all of us. We must not create division between ourselves dueling on this issue. Regardless of washing our feet or wiping them, GOD will not through our Prayers to waist.
Facing the Direction of the Mecca: While performing our daily Contact Prayer, we must face the direction of Mecca (Kaaba).
2:149. Wherever you go, you shall turn your face (during Salaat) towards the Sacred Masjid. This is the truth from your Lord. GOD is never unaware of anything you all do.
2:150. Wherever you go, you shall turn your face (during Salat) towards the Sacred Masjid; wherever you might be, you shall turn your faces (during Salat) towards it. Thus, the people will have no argument against you, except the transgressors among them. Do not fear them, and fear Me instead. I will then perfect My blessings upon you, that you may be guided.
In North America, the direction of the "Qiblah" is slightly south of East. It is not the distance that counts, what matters is the direction that must be correct and consistent.
Intention: Our intention must be resolute that our Contact Prayers are dedicated to GOD ALONE. We must also know the specific Prayer we are about to perform and the number of its units.
6:162. Say, "My Contact Prayers (Salaat), my worship practices, my life and my death, are all devoted absolutely to God alone, the Lord of the universe.
Takbeer: When we stand to perform our Contact Prayers we start by raising our hands to the sides of our face so that our thumbs touch our ears. As we go through the motion to drop our hands to our sides, we utter "ALLAHU AKBAR." These are the ultimate words with which we magnify GOD, our Only Lord and Savior. While performing our Contact Prayers (Salaat), we must remember that we are standing before Almighty GOD. Therefore, it is most important that we reverence the majesty of our Creator every second that we are in contact with Him.

Bowing (Rukoo'): During the contact prayers we bow down to our Most Gracious Lord. As we go through the motion to change our position from the standing to bowing, we must magnify GOD by saying, "ALLAHU AKBAR."

Glorifying GOD in the Bowing Position (Rukoo'): While in bowing position we must glorify GOD by uttering three times "Sob'haana Rab`bial Azeem," which means "You be glorified my Lord, the Most Great."

Standing upright from the bowing position (from Rukoo'): Without exception, every time we go through motion to change our position in our Contact Prayers, we must magnify GOD by uttering "Allahu Akbar:"

First Prostration (The Sujood): In the prostration (Sujood) position three (3) times we say "Sob'haana Rabbial A'alaa " which means "You be glorified my Lord, the Most High."

Sitting up from the First Prostration (Sajdah): As we go through motion to sit up from the prostration position we magnify GoD by saying, "ALLAHUAKBAR."

Second Prostration (The sajdah): In the prostration (Sajdah) position, we say, " Sob'haana Rab`bial A'alaa " three (3) times:

Rising up from the Second Prostration (Sajdah): We magnify GOD by saying "ALLAHU AKBAR" while rising up after the second prostration to the standing position. We then repeat the above steps for the second unit of the contact prayer. When we rise from the second prostration at the second unit of the contact prayer we magnify GOD by saying "Allahu Akbar" but then instead of rising to the standing position we remain in sitting position and proceed to say the "Shahaadah," the proclamation of faith.
اشهد ان لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له
Ash`hadu An Laa Elaaha Ellal`laah, Wah`dahu Laa Sha`reeka`lah
The Shahaadah: While in the sitting position after the second prostration we say the words of Shahaadah in Arabic: "Ash'hadu an laa elaaha ella Allah, Wah'dahu la shareeka lah" (I bear witness that there is no other god beside GOD, He ALONE (is GOD) and He has no partner).

Salaamun Alaikum
The Salutation (Salaam): With salutation we end the contact prayer by saying the Arabic words "Salaamun Alaikum" twice, first when looking at the right and then looking at the left.
Please note that the Morning Prayer consists of 2 units. Therefore, at the end of the 2nd unit, we must declare the Shahaadah and then end the contact prayer by saying, "Salaamun Alaikum" two times, by looking first to the right and then to the left in the sitting position. The Noon prayer consists of 4 units. After we declare the Shahaadah at the end of the 2nd unit, we say, "ALLAHU AKBAR" to stand up for the 3rd unit. At the end of the 4th unit, we declare the Shahaadah and conclude the contact prayer by saying, "Salaamun Alaikum" twice while first looking to the right and then to the left in the sitting position. The Afternoon Prayer, consists of 4 units and thus we perform the contact prayer the same as the Noon Prayer. The Sunset Prayer consists of 3 units. At the end of the 3rd unit, instead of standing up, at the sitting position after the second prostration, we declare the Shahaadah and then proceed to end the contact prayer by saying, "Salaamun Alaikum" twice by first looking towards the right and then to the left in the sitting position. The Night Prayer consists of 4 units and must be performed in the same manner as we perform the Noon and the Afternoon prayers.
The entire Contact Prayer is a coded communication between us and our Creator. It must be uttered in Arabic, the original language of the Quran. It is like dialing a telephone number. If we dial a wrong number, we wont be able to communicate with the person with whom we intend to communicate with. Learning a few Arabic words should not pose much difficulty for those who sincerely wish to establish CONTACT with their Creator.

17:110. Say, "Call Him GOD, or call Him the Most Gracious; whichever name you use, to Him belongs the best names." You shall not utter your Contact Prayers (Salaat) too loudly, nor secretly; use a moderate tone.

62:9. O you who believe, when the Congregational Prayer (Salaat Al-Jumu`ah) is announced on Friday, you shall hasten to the commemoration of GOD, and drop all business. This is better for you, if you only knew.

4:101. When you travel, during war, you commit no error by shortening your Contact Prayers (Salaat), if you fear that the disbelievers may attack you. Surely, the disbelievers are your ardent enemies.

There are some among those who claim they worship GOD ALONE and follow the QURAN ALONE who have turned on their heels. These people instead of performing the Contact Prayers five times a day as it is shown in the Quran, they do the Prayers in three times. The scholar who considers himself the leader of this group claims that "The Middle Prayer" pointed at in 2:238 in the Quran is the Noon Prayer (ظهر) and not the Afternoon Prayer (عصر). Glory is to GOD; it is His will that by the mean of this very important prayer, "The Middle Prayer," those who are utterly lost be exposed.

The gematrical value of "Afternoon," in Arabic Asr (عصر), is 360, ( 70 + 90 + 200). The gematrical value of "Noon," in Arabic Zohr (ظهر), is 1105, (900 + 5 + 200). The gematrical value of "The Middle Prayer," in Arabic (الصلوة الوسطى), is 278, (162 + 116). [(1 + 30 + 90 + 30 + 6 + 5) + (1 + 30 + 6 + 60 + 9 + 10)]. Now let us see how Almighty GOD, by the mean of "The Middle Prayer," exposes those who are utterly lost.
1. Concerning the Daily Contact Prayers, those who truly follow the QURAN ALONE say that "The Middle Prayer" is the Asr (عصر) Prayer.

Sura 103 has 3 verses and this is what it says:

إن الإنسن لفي خسرإلا الذين ءامنوا وعملوا الصلحت وتواصوا بالحق وتواصوا بالصبر
By the afternoon,
The human being is utterly lost.
Except those who believe and lead a righteous life,
And exhort one another to uphold the truth, and exhort one another to be steadfast.
Quran 103:1-34. Those who oppose the truth might say that Sura 103 has nothing to do with the Daily Contact Prayers. We shall see, GOD willing, what GOD wants to convey to us, if we are sincere. By the mean of the first two verses of Sura 103, Almighty GOD is exposing those who are utterly lost. The gematrical value of the first two verses in Sura 103 combined is:

The act of prostration, lowering ourselves to the ground, is the ultimate posture with which we show our lowliness when we are before the Almighty, the Most High. While in prostration we say, "You be glorified our Lord, the Most High," in Arabic:

There are some among those who claim they worship GOD ALONE and follow the QURAN ALONE who have turned on their heels. These people instead of performing the Contact Prayers five times a day as it is shown in the Quran, they do the Prayers in three times. The scholar who considers himself the leader of this group claims that "The Middle Prayer" pointed at in 2:238 in the Quran is the Noon Prayer (ظهر) and not the Afternoon Prayer (عصر). Glory is to GOD; it is His will that by the mean of this very important prayer, "The Middle Prayer," those who are utterly lost be exposed.
All the praises and all the glories are only due to Almighty GOD. The following awesome information and PROOFS are revealed through my brother Hasan Ozturk, GOD's messenger in Germany.

A very interesting observation:
Verse 2:238 in the Quran points at "The Middle Prayer," (الصلوة الوسطي). The gematrical value of the word “The Middle” (الوسطي) is 116, (1 + 30 + 6 + 60 + 9 + 10). There are two verses in the Quran in which GOD points at five ( 5 ) of His prophets, 33:7 and 42:13. These prophets are Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad. Among the five prophets, "Moses” is placed in “The Middle” position, and the gematrical value of the name "Moses,” in Arabic (موسى), is also 116, (40 + 6 + 60 + 10)."Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?!"

If we look at the verse 2:238 closely, we see that there are 2 letter "Saad" (ص) in it, the first letter of the word “Contact Prayer” (صلوة). Now let us look at all the verses in the Quran in which we can find 2 letter Sad (ص) and the word “Contact Prayer” (صلوة). Glory is to GOD; there are only 19 of such verses in the Quran.
